What are shapefiles?
Shapefiles are files used to store a geometric location and contain four different file formats. These file formats are .shp, .shx, .dbf, and .sbn. All of these file formats are needed for each field.
The Agrible Team currently handles all importing of shapefiles. Our current process is typically performed in less than 24 hours and is highlighted below.
Step 1. Let Agrible customer support know that you would like to import shapefiles by starting a live conversation with them in the lower right hand corner. Please make sure you do this when you are logged into your account, so that we can identify the email address associated with your account.
Step 2. Send us the shapefiles via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and then we will import them directly into your account. If farm and field name attributes exist with the shapefiles, they will automatically be added to your account at well.
Step 3. Once your shapefiles are received, Agrible will begin the process of importing them into your account. A member of Agrible customer support will contact you once the import is complete.
