What are shapefiles?

Shapefiles are files used to store a geometric location and contain four different file formats. These file formats are .shp, .shx, .dbf, and .sbn. All of these file formats are needed for each field.ย

The Agrible Team currently handles all importing of shapefiles. Our current process is typically performed in less than 24 hours and is highlighted below.

How To Request A Shapefile Import

Step 1

Option A

Start a live conversation with Agrible Customer Support by clicking the green speech bubble in the lower right corner. Advise you are requesting a shapefile import, and attach the file to your message.

Quick Tip: Please make sure you are logged into your account when you start the chat with support. This allows the team to identify the email address associated with your account.

Option B

Attach and email the shapefile(s) to support@agrible.com with your import request. Please make sure to email from the registered email address of the account you would like the shapefiles imported into.

Step 2

Once your shapefile(s) are received and your registered email address confirmed, Agrible will begin the import process. A member of Agrible Customer Support will contact you once the import is complete.

Quick Tip: The farm and field name attributes existing in your shapefile(s), will automatically be added to your account as part of the import.
