All users have access to both the Nutrien HUB and Agrible. Efforts to merge and consolidate features with the Nutrien HUB are ongoing, including the consolidation of farm and field boundary management. To prevent interruptions in sustainability project participation, accounts requiring updates are being reviewed and handled on a case by case basis.
As Agrible-stored boundary options are retiring in the near future, it is strongly recommended that all farm and field boundary management be handled via the Nutrien HUB going forward.
This applies to all grower accounts, with exception to the legacy accounts with boundary consolidation pending. All Agrible-stored boundary options will be impacted - including Map Entry (manually drawn), John Deere Imported, and Shapefile Imported fields.
Please note, if farms and fields are not yet available on the HUB for a grower, there are import options available with branch and/or Customer Success assistance.
Creating a New Farm on a Legacy Account
For Legacy Account farm management, all farms are created during the Agrible-stored add fields process. There is not an option to add a new farm to the Farm Tree without proceeding through the Map Entry add fields process (or an import). The steps below detail how to add a farm and remove the field created during the process, if the field unwanted.
Step One
Login using your Nutrien HUB credentials.
Step Two
Select Field Story in the main navigation.
Step Three
The Farm Tree is located on the left with all existing farm(s) and field(s) listed. Select the plus symbol (+) at the top of the Farm Tree to access the Agrible-housed add field options.
Step Four
Select the Map Entry option on the left.
Step Five
Locate the field on the map by entering an address, a zip code, a city and state, latitude and longitude in the search box on the upper left -OR- use the zoom controls on the upper right to find a location on the map.
Step Six
Draw your own boundaries (Option A) -OR- select from pre-loaded boundaries (Option B).
Option A
To draw a boundary, start by clicking on one corner/edge of the field. Continue clicking around the boundary of the field to create a the correct shape needed. Return to the first point clicked for a final click on the checkmark to close the boundary. There are no limits on the number of points clicked to complete a field boundary, which allows irregular shaped boundaries and center pivot irrigation boundaries to be easily drawn. If an error in the boundary shape occurs during drawing, select the "x" to remove the last dropped point or Cancel to start over.
Important Notes
If the draw tool is not highlighted with green text, zoom in closer. The draw feature will only activate when the view is close enough.
When drawing boundaries, zoom in as close to the map as possible to create the most accurate boundary. Clicking and dragging the map will not drop a pin while drawing, only clicking or tapping will drop pins.
Option B
Hover over a field to check if there is a pre-loaded boundary available, the boundary will highlight when the mouse crosses onto it. To select a pre-loaded boundary, click one time while hovering over the desired boundary.
Important Notes
Only one pre-loaded boundary can be selected at a time. If a larger boundary is necessary, use Option A to manually draw it.
Add boundaries based on crop type and management practices. Separate cropping histories are required for accurate sustainability reports.
Step Seven
The Field Details pop-up box will appear after completing or selecting the field boundary. Enter a name for the field (something easily identifiable) and choose a Group Name. At the bottom of the pop-up, enter a new farm name under the Create Farm area, then click Save.
Reminder - As the field being created is simply a placeholder to allow the addition of a new farm to the account, it can be deleted or moved to a different farm as needed.
Step Eight
Now that the new farm and field have been created, Add More fields as needed or select Done to view the new additions.
Step Nine (Optional)
There are three options available for the placeholder field that was created while creating the new farm. Leave and use the new field, delete it, or move it to a different farm. Deleting or moving the field can be accomplished using the Farm Tree Pencil icon (edit) feature.
